she's back. i only caught the last hour of human cargo last night and was sitting on a plane for the first episode. i plan on watching the last installment tonight at eight. it's pretty poignant. i hate saying that word and don't know if i can spell it properly.
back to the big chill i am. by the looks of the weather elsewhere in the country it could be a hell of a lot worse.
i turned around because i felt someone standing close behind me. it was a pilot. without so much as a "hello" he asked me, "so, what are you going to be when you grow up?" to which i replied, with a rather serious look, "an environmental chemist". this was followed by an abrupt eyes front. i spent the next 20 minutes wishing i had answered with a dreamy, "your wife" or a curt, "retired" but i couldn't tell how old he was. And who would want to be Kurt anyways.
